Mac Upgrade Screwed Up My Passwords

Mac upgraded the operating system and made a number of changes to my Mac Air, including my LastPass passwords. For instance, in some folders it has taken one of my passwords and sprinkled them throughout a number of files. In other folders it has changed the passwords to a password that I have never used, but seems to have been generated by LasPass. Please advise if there is a method of getting back my correct LastPass files.

Are you sure that your browser's password manager isn't enabled?
