Just dumb luck that I saw it was fixed when I did. 

I guess my J.E.R.K. programming is working after all. 😛

We released a new version (4.95) that should fix the multi-line Notes behavior.  Please check to see if this is working properly after the latest update and let us know if you see anything wrong.

Yes - the problem is solved.  I just tested it.

You mention:  new version (4.95) 

Question:  HOW CAN I KNOW WHAT RELEASE I AM ON?  I have never seen this in "about", etc.

@TheHopper Left-click the LastPass extension > Account Options > About LastPass

@GlennD Actually - I had to login .

The way that works for me is:

1) Login to LastPass

2) Then do as you suggested.
