It is on multiple machines
Yup. Restarting doesn't fix it.
YES!! Huge issue. "enter" no longer works with latest Windows version (Chrome plug-in). Chrome Extensions reports this as v4.93.0 in latest Chrome windows 10, 64 bit build
I've tried Enter on numpad, ctrl-Enter, shift-enter, alt-enter, ctrl-shift-Enter -- all either do nothing or same default action of CLOSING the dialog box instead of doing a newline in the Notes field
HUGELY ANNOYING
Yes! A significant problem here too. Using the Google Chrome plug-in.
Please, tech support, get this fixed soon.
Hi all,
We are aware of this issue, and are currently investigating the fix. We will post an update in this thread once we have news to share.
Thanks for your patience.
Same issue here. This is a quite staggering error. I can't believe that it got past the QA team (assuming that QA is part of the pre-release process?)
Please advise what improvement actions are being undertaken to improve QA in future? If this is the quality of UI changes released, I have to question the quality of the underlying security architecture and coding, which is a major concern.
Just weighing in. I have found a work around, albiet not convenient.
If you open Add a New Item, then Password, The "Notes" field works as expected with the Enter key, and allows multiple lines to be created. This clearly doesn't help in editing an existing password entry, however...
You can open Lastpass in two browser tabs. Copy the content from the entry you want to modify, paste it into the new entry, use the new entry notes field as a "scratch pad", then copy the contents back to your existing entry.
Wonky? Sure, but it's a gap fill until "Notes" uses the Enter key again for editing existing.
All it does is close the LastPass entry.
Same with Enter (My iPad works fine with Enter)
Very strange.
Thanks!
This is on Windows 10, current both the LastApp "App" mode or in normal Firefox.
They are AWARE and trying to fix currently.:
