What is the current version for FF?

I've never seen such confusing versioning.

So, about a year ago I discovered how horribly out of date my extension was. I found out you now had to go to the Lastpass website to update. (seems like you are leaving folks with out-of-date, insecure versions if they don't notice)

Now I finally get an update notice for 4.1.61. But mine is 4.2.0.7a! I don't see that version mentioned anywhere.

So what's the story? Where did my version come from? Should I downgrade?
3.0 was way better than what I have so I wish I could go back to that.
