This is happening to a lot of people...
I'm trying to log in with master password and it says: "To continue: Check your inbox for an email from LastPass: my e-mail address".
The e-mail never comes through. Have tried many times and have checked spam folder.
Tried using the forgot password link and that e-mail comes through straight away.
Are you going to fix this?
You would think it would be a fairly high priority...
I suspect their highest priority is dealing with the latest repercussions of the massive new hack information they’ve shared in the last week, on top of the last few months, which is bad enough to that they’re shedding users and quite likely not going to last much longer. Device verification may well not be a high priority for them at the moment, which may be a sign that things are not going well in their crisis management at the moment.
You should also know (and be able to see from these very forums) that it’s rare that anyone from LP checks in here. Their support is minimal, if that.
If your highest priority, given recent events and their carelessness with our data, and their inattention to their support forum, is device verification, you might want to do a little more reading around here and decide if you really want to trust these folks with you sensitive information.
Exact same issue I am having, and it’s been going on for months now. I am not able to access my passwords anywhere! Frustrating to say the very least!
I would only invite you to read my last reply above and reevaluate whether you should continue to give LastPass your business at all in light of your situation and the larger issues with their handling of millions of people’s data.
