i've been on premium on and off for years, so i can use unlimited devices, and share passwords with my partner. recently their account started saying they have limited device switches available. this is new.
should they get multiple device support under my premium account?
thanks

Hi @OoerictoO,
A Premium plan is the minimum plan needed for multi device support (mobile and desktop). Once you have 2 or more people a Families plan makes more sense as each member has all the features of a Premium plan, plus the ability to have shared folders of items everyone can access, and it is also less expensive than 2 or more separate Premium plans.
You could upgrade your plan to Families and then add your Wife as a member. You will be pro-rated for the remaining balance of your existing plan and charged the difference when you upgrade. Families FAQ
@OoerictoO If your partner is using their own set of credentials that would indicate a separate account. Premium plans are for use with a single person, while Family plans allow for connecting up to 6 members simultaneously.
thanks @ASH. does one families account allow multiple devices on my partners account if i'm paying?
hi all.
which account type do i need so that one of the family members on my account (different credentials/username) can use multiple devices?
