LMI AV - "LogMeIn AV installation failed"

Hi,

 

after there was a hint via E-Mail, i wanted to try the NEW LMI AV...

 

on some it is installing and on others it is NOT installing..

 

the difference: on Windows 10 Version 1903 it is NOT installing with the following LOG-Entries (on the "lower" Versions it installed):

Exit Code 1151 = "Wrong OS" !?!? but it should work on Windows 7 and higher...

 

when will Version 1903 be supported? it's on the road!   ;-)

The update for existing endpoint went live on update servers today and new installations should get the new package later this week.
Unfortunately testing and fixing a few bugs took longer than expected.

Hi HelmiPRE,

 

Windows 10 Version 1903 is currently only availbale through the Windows Insider preview program.

Nevertheless, we are working on making sure the upcoming version of Windows 10 becomes supported for LogMeIn Antivirus.

Hi Mate,

 

you are right - but it should be official in a short time....

 

...always the same with this AV's...

 

can you keep me informed? will then this version be installed or the "old" one (with KAV there was an "older" version installed and to the newer one you had to update via "updating KAV".....

Hi Helmut,

 

Our vendor is running final tests for the new engine, so we should be able to release a new LogMeIn AV version that supports 1903 sometimes next week.

i'm just testing an update via Windows Update and an installed LogMeIn AV - what will happen??!! i will keep you informed

Hi Matt,

 

i told you about my "testing" - here are my results:

 

- Origin: Windows 10 with 1809 installed

- Origin: LogMeIn AV installed!!

- Windows Update to 1903 will be processed (no blocking!!)

- after configuring 1903 and installing other updates restart of the system was neccessary

- Status: LogMeIn AV installed and some kind of information troubles.....

 

-> the LogMeIn dashboard say: everything is OK and working / updates thru dashboard are done / ....

-> the LogMeIn AV on the computer tells: licencees are expired in Content Control and Antimalware

 

...oops: at 09:30 this morning these licencees were received and the status is the same as on other pc's...
