I would love to have the capability to create a group of computers, and be able to receive a notification, whether an e-mail or a phoe call, if any of the computers in the group will be detected by LogMeIn as down.

This feature is available in the Central Premier package. the feature is called "Alerts", you can receive an email notification whenever an alert package is assigned to the computers you want to monitor when their are down or even applications and event ids.
