We currently deploy LogMeIn to all our user workstations during our deployment process using the following script:
msiexec.exe /i "%~dp0LogMeIn.msi" /quiet /norestart DEPLOYID=xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx INSTALLMETHOD=5 FQDNDESC=1
This means that the computer is added to LogMeIn using the computer name but what we also need is the computer description from Active Directory to also make it to LogMeIn so that we can easily identify who the owner of the machine is when the time comes to remotely connect.
Is a post deployment sync possible/good solution? Maybe using the API?
We also manage non-domain joined computers using LogMeIn so we need a solution that satifies both types of workstations.
