logmein Central reports windows update service is disabled

Hi,

 

I have several computers all Windows 10 and connected to domains in logmein Central the health reports windows update service is disabled

 

Any help would be appreciated

Use the browser to login then go to Updates - Manage

Basic subscription does not give that option

then it may be disabled on the windows pc. Have you checked if the wuauserve service is up?

 

Run the below script at an elevated command prompt. You are going to run this on the remote pc. If you get errors that wuauserv or bits or appidsvc can not stop then you are not elevated. right click on batch and choose Run As Administrator

Thanks for the reply

 

I can log into the PC's and do updates no problems, however logmein central reports windows service is disabled and clearily it is not

what version of the LMI client are you running on both PCs?

i think that will help. mismatched versions usually will miss features from incompatability
