Peer is connected to a domain that no longer exists.

Hello,

First time gateway user of Hamachi. Here's the issue I'm having:

My gateway is in workgroup A. I'm remote, in a different office, trying to connect to the gateway in workgroup B. Other machines local to that gateway see it just fine, but I can't see it without errors:

1. Can't ping my gateway

2. Status: domain no longer exists

3. Status details under settings on my computer: Peer is connected to a domain that no longer exists. It has been temporarily placed in a Null domain.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

Re: Peer is connected to a domain that no longer exists.

I just had the same issue, however, have no idea how I resolved it.

I'd done a few things and not sure which was the solution:

1) Reset the PC hosting the Hamachi Gateway

2) Connected a remote client via alternate VPN method (It's possible that this caused a 'communication' with the DNS/DHCP/AD of some sort

3) Performed a ipconfig /release and ipconfig /renew

Hope this helps others in some way.
