We have multiple servers that use Hamachi which clients connect to using Remote Desktop Connect but about a week ago the connection has gone awfully slow. It is unusable in its current state, as an example before it took 2 seconds to log in and load the icons on the desktop. Now it's taking over 3 minutes.
When connecting directly to the server and not through the Hamachi VPN IP, everything is fine and it is working how it should.
We have tried the usual fixes such as uninstalling then re-installing, opening all the ports that are required, and making exceptions in the firewall. But nothing has worked.
The strange thing is that it happened all at the same time over 4 different sites.
Does anyone have any ideas on what is causing this issue? How to fix it? or if there is a workaround?
Sorry - this isn't an answer - just to say our connection has done exactly the same.
Has worked faultless for 2 months now - now almost impossible to use.
LOG ME IN - Please HELP
As an update. We have found that stopping and restarting the service (LogMeIn Hamachi Tunneling Engine) allows the VPN to run at a respectable speed.
@LoginMeIn can you explain why this is happening?
