Static IP setup

Hi all,

I want to connect a off site admin machine for admin/purchases that will connect to 2 restaurant networks via the VPN. I have installed LogMeIn on both servers and the admin machine. Even though I can see the servers on the network I can't get the Admin machine to connect to either one's SQL server database to run software. This is due to the IP addresses not being in the same segment. Server 1 is: 25.47.1.161 and Server2: 25.49.130.187 The admin machine is 25.48.87.71 and all run a Subnet of 255.0.0.0

I have read other post and see the answer to setting up a fixed static IP is to edit the Service Configuration Folder so the client will issue in a sertain vrange only, but I can't find it anywhere.

The two existing networks have a IP range of 192.168.1.x Subnet 255.255.255.0

Server 1: Windows Server 2008

Server 2: Windows Server 2012

Admin: Windows 10

Please help.

Re: Static IP setup

Hello,

You might want to try to set the main database as a gateway computers and any computer that will access it.

Best,
