Anyone else notice that the cursor no long reflects the currently selected tool in Photoshop CC 2018? A few tools have been glitchy for a while (i.e., the brush tool only visible at certain sizes), but now no matter which tool I select, the cursor just remains a black arrow (and not even the move tool black arrow, but just the plain cursor black arrow). Makes it practically impossible to do any fine tuning in Photoshop. 😕
Hi @Stephaly ,
Sorry for the frustrations.
Does this pointer change happen to occur with any other applications?
Could you specify what operating system and software version is installed there?
Yes, it actually seems to be the case in all the Adobe CC 2018 applications I use. I'm on a 2017 iMac running High Sierra.
@Stephaly Is there anyone at the Host that can confirm the cursor is fine when Pro is disconnected?
Yes, cursor functions correctly when the computer is being used in person instead of accessed remotely via LogMeIn. Also worth noting, the cursor functions correctly when accessed remotely from TeamViewer.
@Stephaly Has the functionality ever worked when connecting through LMI?
Yes, it worked fine for years. It's only within the last year that these glitches have been occurring.
Mac user here. The icons for various tools, for example the hand, eye dropper, text tool, etc. all appear as a black arrow on my remote screen. I asked someone to check the host screen as I worked and they reported the icons all appear as they should on the host screen. Does anyone know how to solve this?
@Car_Stock Sorry for the display behavior there.
Could you say if this is new behavior, or have these tools always appeared as such?
Specifically what operating systems are being used at the Host/Client side?
What LMI App version is the LMI Control Panel running?
What applications are being utilized when this occurs?
