Target Mac requires rebooting after every session

Hi All, hope you can help!

My Mac in the office (Mojave 10.14.6) needs to be rebooted every time I log into it from my Mac at home (Catalina 10.15.6). I'm pretty sure I'm using the Disconnect button correctly but when I log out the machine becomes unreachable and I cannot reconnect unless it's rebooted.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi @TedH1

Just curious, have you already preformed a full re-installation on the remote Mojave system there?  Can you confirm the version it is currently running?

We're going to update the office machine to Catalina so at least they're synced. Lack of bodies there will take a day or two. I'll let you know!
