remote computer freezes when I do a screen shot (snipping tool) Microsoft 7

For 2 years I used Logmein on my windows 7 computer and took screenshots on the remote computer to use in documents I was creating on that computer.  Now, when I take a screen shot the whole remote computer freezes and I cannot do anything.  Any suggestions on how to fix?

Are there any updates for the affected Host PC from either Microsoft (windows), or the manufacturer website (drivers) ?

Seems there is a bug snipping tool bug in windows 7 - freezes

 

I would disable the Snipping tool and then re-enable it. 
Step 1: Click the Windows Start Button and click Control Panel
Step 2: Click Programs icon
Step 3: Click Turn Windows features on or off 
Step 4: To disable un-check the box for Tablet PC Optional Components.
(This actually encompasses more than the Snipping tool)

Reboot.
Then using the same steps, now check the box for Tablet PC Optional Components.
Now see if you are still having the same problem with attaching to an email.

Using logmein control bar, under options , please uncheck “Lock keyboard and mouse”. Now you would be able to use “snipping tool”
