Hello, I am trying to connect to a PC that had a dual monitor setup. When I left the computer yesterday both monitors worked perfectly while LogMeIn only shows one monitor is connected. One of the monitors is connected through HDMI while the other is connected through VGA. When I am physically at the computer I have dual monitors but when I am connecting through LogMeIn it only registers one monitor. Any help with getting the multi-monitor working would be greatly appreciated. I won't be physically at the computer again until Tuesday but I can still connect with LogMeIn on ONE monitor to get information if it is needed. Thank you!

I figured it out. I had turned off my monitors before I left and LogMeIn wasn't detecting that that was a second monitor plugged in. As soon as I turned the monitor on I was able to view both monitors. I understand WHY it's just confusing because one of the monitors was working just fine being powered off. Thank you for your help.
On the black LMI bar at the top of your remote session, click on Options, then on the right side, click on Monitors, then choose multiple monitors. It will spawn a second LMI window, drag that second windo to your second screen and maximize it.
Thank you for the reply. There is no Monitor button to click. From what I was able to look up online the option that I need to get the multiple monitors to work just isn't there.
There is
Connection Options:
Connect Drives, Blank Screen, Remote Printing, Sync Clipboard, Lock keyboard and mouse, Network, Keybord
Tools:
Whiteboard, Chat, Laser Pointer, Magnify
Sound, Ctrl-Alt-Del
Screen Settings:
Color Quality, view, "resolution(1366x768 currently), full screen

After much frustration and limited help from information out there, I figured out dual monitor cloning for host 1-1 monitor to client 1-1 montor.
1. To clone, make sure both the client and host computers have monitor display settings set to "Extend These Displays".
2. With computer monitor display setting matching, log into your log me in account. Once logged in, you will need to go to the toolbar and select options, monitors, mutiple monitors (4th selection in dropdown).
3. Then, log out of log me in and then back into log me in. Once logged back in, the cloning will take place but the monitors will not match. You will need to minimize the log me in screen (make the box smaller so you see two boxes cascaded on top of each other), and you will see the second screen in the background. The second box is your second monitor on the host computer. Simply drag that second box to the screen monitor on your remote computer, maximize, and you will now have both monitors cloned exactly as set on the host computer.
I did three computers for my employees this week. A little tricky with finding the second screen in the background, and tricky that the setting will not take effect unless you have monitor displays the same for both the host and client, as well as needing to log out and back for everything to clone.
Thank you!!!
This was a very detailed response and extremely tedious but it worked!
ANY support video, commentary etc I came across for days was ONLY showing toggle option or quick/switch between monitors. What good is that if you are WORKING? Logmein - THIS NEEDS TO BE A SIMPLER PROCESS! Why? Because toggling between monitors is terrible if you are WORKING. It may be ok for supporting a client for troubleshooting. For WORK it is lousy.
@sunshine3808 Have you been able to reboot the affected Host PC by chance?
At some point, every day during a remote session, if i've stepped away from my computer, the log me in ribbon (black box with options that includes resolution size etc) looses the button for Monitors. What happens then is log me in doesn't recongize the two monitors in the office nor on my home screen. I was able for the past month to restart the computer(s) to get it to reappear. But today restarting is ineffective. Please help!
After 3-17-21 update dual Monitors button not available on the remote control toolbar. was working yesterday, i can still toggle between monitors, but no longer can use both at the same time, the icon that used to be there is missing on the toolbar, and not available under customize toolbar either
