Try this and see if it works. If you have your screen "blanked", undo that. I was told there is a glitch and that worked for me.
Thank you.
The screen is not blanked.
As noted, this was working perfect until I upgraded. I upgraded. It quit working completely.
It was worth a shot. I called LogMeIn and they signed into my computer and fixed it and that was one of the settings he changed. He said they had a lot of issues with the upgrade not being compatible with certain OS.
Yep, it was worth a shot.
In my case, both sides are running Windows 10 Pro 10.0.19042 Build 19042 (e.g., 20H2).
Identical to my issue. Flawlessly since March 2020. Both host/client (ourselves) are Windows 10 long before now. There has to be an update glitch.
1:1 monitor is awful when dual for years. Loss of functionality/efficiency.
I have seen random "fixes" listed, none of which have worked for me. I have a Call Ticket into Admin. If this is such an issue for customers, I really hope they are working on an update.
I see the "fix" for screen settings and turning blank screen off. That is not an option when CONFIDENTIALITY needed at the host.
I found this comment from LogMeIn in another thread:
Multiple folks are having this same and similar issues.
Same here. I just got off the phone with LogMeIn Tech support. He looked around and said he thinks it has something to do with the host machine. Not sure that I'm buying it. We have quality updates turned off of Win10. When I connect now a third monitor appears in the display settings which is what LogMeIn is using. The other two (my dual monitors) are no longer accessable.
Hello,
We have noted that host PCs with a 'dummy' output sticks / monitor cords are not being recognized by the LMI software as before. Hopefully I can share more updates around this matter soon, and I thank you all for your patience.
