Re: Mac - restore default sound output device on disconnect

Yes, I have, and am using that version on Snow Leopard, and the problem still persists.  It has a release date of May 2013.

Re: Mac - restore default sound output device on disconnect

[ Edited ]

I have sent a private message to Sean_K which reads:

"Dear Sean_K:  When is LMI going to fix the Apple Mac sound driver problem caused by LMI Free?

The problem continues - see /t5/Free/Mac-restore-defaul-sound-output-device-on-disconnect/m-p/100377#M9943

It's way over a year.  If LMI is not going to fix this, then please (a) let us know so that we can start searching for other companies' products and (b) take down the LMI boasts that this works on Mac, because it doesn't.

Please post at that link above.  Thanks."

Sean_K (or anyone from LMI) - what is the story here??

LMI - what is going on here?  It's over a year and this is a BIG flaw.  What say you?

Re: Mac - restore defaul sound output device on disconnect

Have same issue :( Tried the Sudo fix. This is what it said back to me:

Can't open CFBundle for /system/library/extensions/logmeinsounddriver64.kext.

Can't create /system/library/extensions/logmeinsounddriver64.kext.

Any ideas what it means?

Re: Mac - restore defaul sound output device on disconnect

Same thing is happening to my clients, and it is causing some MAJOR HEADACHE.  Not only did they start charging, this problem is just the last straw.  Moving on to Splashtop after years of painless LogMeIn use, very sad...

I just paid, then struck this problem.

What a rip-off.

Moved to free Teamviewer.

Less elegant, but it works.
