MacOS Catalina

Virtually impossible to connect to Catalina, GoToAssist doesn't work at all, trying to talk customers through the System Preferences changes to give access. TeamViewer no better, very frustrating.

Re: MacOS Catalina

Hi @EKKG ,

Sorry for the connection difficulty with your Mac clients.  Please see if this support document resolves some of the Mac launch and permission problems there:  https://help.gotoassist.com/rescueassist/help/how-can-i-remotely-control-a-customers-mac-running-mac...

Re: MacOS Catalina

There are no apps requesting permission under "screen recording" and I cannot add one.

Re: MacOS Catalina

finally got it to work on one Mac but it was a painful process. Didn't work the first time, but it did the second.

Re: MacOS Catalina

The version my Mac customers get when I try to connect with them via GoToAssist is 1599 and it does not work with Catalina. Oh, and once you install Catalina, if you didn't uninstall unattended support, you can't do that either because the uninstaller is incompatible. Can it really be this hard to get it right? I know I'm not the only one struggling with this, I end up having to use Teamviewer.
