Every single time I launch the Android LastPass app, it generates a notification that it needs the "Draw over other apps" setting (or however it's called in English; I have the Dutch OS language). When I tap the notification, I'm taken to the relevant setting, which is already on. And the app works normally in any case. Why does this notification keep popping up?
I am having the same issue, along with Lastpass not working at all on my LG Stylo 6. It just freezes or sits there with the spinning circle over and over. Seriously it is not working even slightly and this sucks because I've used Lastpass for like 8 years, but I will have to find another password manager app if they don't get their act together. And I'm super annoyed that I can't figure out how to just send a support inquiry. Oh great, I get to sit here and search forums all day, and see that the questions and frustrations people have had aren't even being answered. This original question was from February. Come on, man.
I am having the same issue on my Samsung Galaxy S7 with the latest OTA updates (Android 8.0.0) and latest LastPass update from Play Store (188.8.131.5214) Built 8 June 2020, 7:59 am and Developer Settings Enabled.
The notification says, "to use app fill on your device, enable the 'draw over other apps' permission for LastPass."
The "GO TO SETTINGS" link in this notification goes to a screen labeled "APPS THAT CAN APPEAR ON TOP", with only LastPass shown and the "Allow permission" slider turned on.
I found another way to get to a similar screen, which shows this permission for LastPass and many other apps. This is Settings, Apps, upper right vertical ellipsis, "Special Access", "Apps that can appear on top". The slider for LastPass is also shown enabled on this screen.
