Safari extension won't change identities

I've recently started using the Identities feature to separate Work vs Personal logins. In the Safari extension (just downloaded the extension app and reinstalled today), when I try to change identities from the menu, it appears to work (asks for password like usual) but actually remains on the All identity.

E.g.: LastPass button -> More Options -> Identities (All) -> Work. Then click LastPass button -> More Options -> Identities (All) still shows up. It should say Identities (Work). Also I can see that all my logins are still visible, not just the ones on the Work identity.

And while posting this I noticed a second issue: when I (tried to) change identities, it went and loaded some other page (this forum index), and I had to click Back to get back to writing this post. Why would changing identities do anything to the page I was visiting?

Could you try uninstalling the LastPass extension/Mac app and reinstalling from here? https://lastpass.com/download
