Two brands by the same company have separate accounts for their very similar sites. The login pages look like this:
https://identity.brand1.com/brand1/authentication/Login
https://identity.brand1.com/brand2/authentication/Login
... so the only difference is in the beginning of the path of the URL.
LastPass keeps treating these sites as one and suggests the same password entry (and wants to overwrite the saved password when I manually change it). I've tried to use the "URL Rules" feature to no avail. Either I'm not setting it up correctly, or it doesn't work for this scenario.
1. How should I configure LastPass to be able to use separate passwords for the above URLs and preferably only have it suggest the appropriate one based on the exact site I'm logging into?
2. More of a general question, but is the "Name" field in a password entry required to be "example.com" or can I change it to whatever I want or would that mess up the identification? Shouldn't the "URL" field be enough?
3. Is there a setting to have LastPass by default consider the full "URL" field in the password entry? Nothing more, nothing less.

Hello,
Could you try making sure there are URL rules for both of these entries with the exact URL into the Domain or Host field, nothing in the Path field, and make sure Exact Host Match is enabled? Now LastPass should only offer to autofill the login information for this specific URL and ignore the others.

Thanks! It actually works exactly like it should when following your instructions to the point.
I think my problem was that despite having both the rules entered, but only having ONE of the password entries (say the one for brand2), then BOTH sites actually want to use that one. A bit confusing.
