To find out more about what is causing error 100, please follow the steps below on an affected machine, in order to generate debug logs:

  1. From an elevated CMD, browse to the install location and run product.console.exe /c Support.StartSession scenario=generic outputPath=C:\Windows\temp to enable logging;
  2. Start the update process and wait until the error is returned;
  3. Wait at least 2-3 minutes then disable logging and generate the logs archive by running product.console.exe /c Support.EndSession

Hello AshC,

 

I am communicating with support via email (Case# 16813150).  Their last email has requested the same info as posted by you.  However, I am attempting to email the logs but that email or any new email is being blocked for SPAM.

 

Email error says Logmin.com suspects your message is spam and rejected it.
