Does Logmein Hamachi SUPPORT MacOS Catalina 10.15 ?
As the lastest version of Logmein Hamachi (version 2.1.0.821) is 32-bit app, MacOS Catalina is no longer support 32-bit app.
I am about to upgrade to MacOS Catalina, so I would like to ask that currently Logmein hamachi is able to install and run on Mas OS Catalina or not ? If not, is anyone has any workaround ?
Hi @Nat4532 ,
We've tested Hamachi on Catalina successfully, so you should have no issues installing it there.
Hi I'm running macOS Catalina 10.15.4 once I made the last update then I received a system message about Hamachi not being supported for that version of the OS, I'm not able to reproduce that message so I don't remember exactly if it was generally talking about "support" or some specific functionality, I should have payed more attention. Now I can ping mysefl on the VPN but not my collegue on the other side. It's probably some block by the OS do you have any workaround? Maybe you are already working on that? Suggestions to put me on the right path for trying to fix? Where should I look/ask?
Every word would be very much appreciated.
Thank you 🙏
After installing and opening Hamachi I get this message:
LogMeIn Hamachi can't run due to an Apple Security restriction. To allow Hamachi to run, you must do the following:
1. Click Ok below to be taken to the Security and Privacy System Preferences pane.
2. Click the Allow button next to "System software from devleoper LogMeIn, Inc. was blocked from loading."
I do as it says and click on OK and I get taken to the security and privacy system preferences pane, but there's nothing there saying "System software from devleoper LogMeIn, Inc. was blocked from loading.". Therefore I am obviously not able to click the allow button. How do I make my Mac allow Hamachi to run and resolve this problem?
@sandpaper I know the new Apple security guards can be tricky, and may not always show LMI software as 'allowed' at first. Can you try a couple of re-installs to see if they trigger recognition again?
Hey Paulie, were you able to still connect with the update? I'm asking because I received the same message and I've been hesitant. to up to the new MAC OS
Could give us more information about the new service to replace LogMein ?
Best regards
