This is a a very annoying issue and I have hit it 3 or 4 times across a couple different PCs over the past few months. It seems to occur around when I apply my Windows Updates.
Fixed it today on a Windows XP Pro box by stopping all services with "LogmeIn *" then starting them back up.
Tech Support...please pass this bug to your dev guys, this is most annoying and is helping push me to another solution. To be fair, I am using the free one today and I do not mind the stop/start service headaches around this bug. But in the next 12 months I will be needing a commercial solution for a business need.
Thanks for the consideration...
hi, i have a problem connecting to the Hamachi server! what's the problem?
http://www.ulozisko.sk/obrazky/449074/Bez_nazvu.jpg
open "Start > Run > services.msc" search for "LogMeInHamachi" or "Hamachi" and click on them and then on left side click on the blue "start" and then your Hamachi will start
open "Start > Run > services.msc" search for "LogMeInHamachi" or "Hamachi" and click on them and then on left side click on the blue "start" and then your Hamachi will start
I reintalled too it solved the problem for a day then when i tried to use it again it gave me the error message. Also i tried running as admin but that didnt help either.
Doesn't show start for me.
that sort of worked for me if you save the regular hamachi to program files(x86) [for me] then save your program to the destop. Then move that file into program files(x86) and run as administrator.
thank you 🙂
b.t.w~ i am running 7x64 bit
I had the same service stuck starting problem.
To remedy it, I looked under the servies tab in the taks manager and found the service's PID.
Then, I ran cmd as an administrator and forced it to stop with
"taskkill /f /pid [PID]" where [PID] is the process ID (2012 in my case)
I then started it in the same cmd with
"net start Hamachi2Svc"
Hope this helps anyone with this problem in the future.
Okay,I just figured this out. Go to Run>services.msc>Look for LogMeIn Hamachi Tunneling Engine>Right-Click it>If it dosen't let you start Go to properties after right click and change the start-up type to manual and then apply>ok.Then on the left sidebar click start.Hope this helps!
great post just tried my self, all working
Thanks
