OpenSSL 3.0.10 increases the level of security during the communication process, while using LogMeIn Rescue.

The vPro feature for Rescue has been updated with native out-of-band KVM support, removing the need for the embedded Intel EMA application.

Today the Rescue team is excited to release self-service SSO – giving all Rescue customers the ability to configure and test their single sign-on configurations in the Rescue Admin Center.  Previously, customers had to schedule time with a Support Representative to complete the final step of their configuration, this is no longer required! 

The Rescue Team is very excited to announce the support for Intel vPro enabled devices.  For those not familiar, vPro is a special processor developed by Intel that allows for remote access connections at the hardware level via Intel Endpoint Management Assistant (Intel EMA) and Intel Active Management Technology (Intel AMT)  provisioned devices.

The Rescue team is excited to announce another newly supported platform in 2023! Hot on the heels of Linux, we are now adding basic support for the ChromeOS operating system to remotely view the desktop, and remote control Android applications on a ChromeOS device.

The Rescue Team is pleased to announce that Linux support is now available for our Rescue customers on the Live environment!

The Rescue Team is proud to present the new multifactor authentication (MFA) methods. Rescue has traditionally only supported the LastPass authenticator, but we wanted to provide additional options to better serve customers who wanted to use a different authenticator, had no access to an app store, – or their agents didn’t have access to a mobile device for security concerns / internal IT policies.  The goal of this improvement is to make additional options available for MFA, giving users more app choices and methods to authenticate.

We proudly present the brand-new look of the Rescue Admin Center containing the full feature set of the old version. 

As part of our commitment to provide exceptional service and reliability to our customers, we're happy to inform you that we will be upgrading the current live Rescue Technician Console (OS: Windows) from version 7.12.3379 to 7.50.3563 on March 23rd, 2023. 

The Rescue Product Team is excited to announce that Rescue users can now install the Calling Card as a Windows service, allowing for a much easier and streamlined experience for non-admin users joining a Rescue session. This is a highly requested feature for our customers who are constantly striving to improve the connection experience for their users.

As well as being certified on ServiceNow Tokyo (before its official release!!), the following enhancements are now available:  Compatibility with ServiceNow Interactions and Custom Field Mappings between Rescue and ServiceNow!
