What's New?
Accessibility Improvements to Windows
- High contrast mode is now supported for out-of-session windows (e.g., Scheduler, Preferences, system tray menu, Report Audio Issue, Recording Manager).
Improvements to Cloud Recording
- When a mobile organizer starts a meeting, a co-organizer joined from the desktop app or Web App can now record to the cloud on the scheduling organizer's behalf. Previously, if a mobile organizer started a meeting, cloud recording was not possible.
Bug Fixes & Minor Changes:
Improvements to the Inviting Others from Mac
- The Invite button at the bottom of the Control Panel now launches the "Invite Others" window. Previously, it copied the meeting details to the clipboard.
Improvements to User Feedback Survey on Mac
- Mac users will be prompted with a feedback survey window after the user has left the meeting or the meeting has ended. Previously, a browser page would open with the survey.
Additional bug fixes and minor changes:
- Fix for some Mac users running v8.36.2, b10981 unable to launch the desktop app
- Fix for some Mac users experiencing a long join time waiting for the desktop app to download the required version
- Fix for Windows attendee in full screen mode not being able to see the shared video
- Fix for the GoToMeeting app remaining in the Mac dock after the meeting has ended
- Fix for promoted organizers seeing the Recording notifications
- Fix for Mac users running OS X Yosemite 10.10 experiencing the app crashing when they immediately switched over to another app/screen after ending a session
- Fix for an unresponsive Control Panel and app crash when users enlarged the Audience View pane while sharing their screen
- Fix for the "Reply" button overlapping the chat preview in the notification
- Fix for unresponsive Audio icon and wrong audio state for Mac organizers
- The "Send Feedback to GoToMeeting" menu item has been removed from the Control Panel
- The GoToMeeting app will stop running when users exits the app
- Attendees who haven't entered a name will be displayed as "Waiting for name" in the Mac Attendee pane
- A minimum font size of 9pt has been applied to all desktop app windows (e.g., My Meetings, Recording Manager, etc.)
