Hi Everyone, we are excited to announce these features now available in GoTo Meeting!
Introducing GoTo Meeting Quick Polls
A long-standing customer request, Quick Polls is an in-session, on-the-fly polling capability for GoTo Meeting that boosts engagement and enables fast alignment on topics that arise unexpectedly during a session.
Organizers and co-organizers can create, launch and modify polls without disrupting screen sharing, collect anonymous votes, and share results instantly!
Key Details:
- Instantly create and launch single or multiple choice polls during your meeting.
- Vote anonymously for added privacy.
- Update and edit existing polls before you send them out to your participants.
- Enjoy a non-intrusive polling panel on the left side of your screen—so your meeting content stays front and center.
- Both organizers and co-organizers have the power to create and launch polls.
- Participants can vote easily, and organizers can quickly share results with the group.
Launching a Poll
- Click on Tools from the bottom bar, select Polls.
- This will launch Polls sidebar.
- There, you can Create Single/Multiple choice polls, Save, Edit, and Launch them on the go!
Creating a Poll
- Click on the Single choice poll or multiple-choice poll option.
- A minimum of 2 options is required to create polls and a maximum of 5 poll options can be added.
Launch and Edit Polls
- Poll can be launched and edited by clicking on the created Poll or from the 3-dot menu
- Once the Poll is launched, the results of the poll can be shared with the participants of the session
Please Note:
- Mobile attendees will not be able to participate in the quick polls at this time.
- When using this feature, an alert message will be displayed to the organizer when an attendee joins via mobile, that they will not be able to participate in the poll.
AI Chatbot for In-Session Support
We’ve launched an AI-powered chatbot that provides real-time, in-session support. Hosts and attendees can now get instant answers to common questions and troubleshooting help without needing to leave the room or wait for staff!
Key Details:
- Available in GoTo app version 0.707.0 or above
- The AI chatbot is available in-session for both hosts and participants via the more icon (3 dots) on top bar.
- Here you can ask questions, get links to relevant help articles, and troubleshoot common issues.
- This will reduce interruptions for hosts and speed up problem resolution for attendees.
- Please note: The chatbot does not handle complex, account-specific or billing questions yet - those are routed to traditional support channels.
