Hamachi over IPv6
Does Hamachi support tunneling over IPv6?
I'm behind a CGNAT but have full IPv6 support, unfortunately I don't see Hamachi creating a IPv6 socket my system (I'm checking using Windows Server Resource monitor)
CacoFFF I've had it confirmed that IPv6 is supported only at the virtual Hamachi IP level. The tunnel is still over IPv4.
Unfortunately it is a quite complicated task to add IPv6 support to the tunnel level.

That's too bad, and I know it can be bit of a refactor at the engineering level since I've done such a port for an old game in the past.
Feel free to close the discussion... or leave open in case ipv6 is ever considered for future updates.

Selecting peer to peer connections as 'IPv6 Only' appear to only affect the virtual connections, the tunnels themselves still depend on a IPv4 socket in the OS, which makes other clients in my network unable to punch a hole through my ISP's CGNAT.

Hi CacoFFF, welcome to the community.
IPV6 is supported with mesh and hub-and-spoke network configurations, if it is enabled https://support.goto.com/hamachi/help/how-to-resolve-a-network-conflict-in-an-ipv4-network
