CIB tailored to accounts

Hi,

My organisation has recently seen the function where you can now Connect in Browser for gtmpc. This would be a massive advantage for us.  As a training company we supply classrooms of PC's and allow delegates to connect from wherever. We provide pre-test instructions (not always completed) and as the gtmpc.exe is blocked on a lot of occasions by their  IT,  CIB would be a game changer for us.

Speaking with GTMPC Support (brilliant by the way) it seems that CIB in a corporate account cannot be tailored to specific accounts at a lower level. When we activated this at a higher level (admin) CIB is on for all our accounts.  Unfortunately would cause mayhem with our trainers without a tested phased in approach.

What is the path to looking to get CIB incorporated at a level where we can make the best use of a great functionality?

    Hi Kate - thank you for getting back to me. If there is any future movement on this keep in mind we would be the first at QA happy to test.

    Hi Kev1903, there aren't plans yet, but I have shared this with the project manager and will update the Community with any changes. Thanks again for your sharing this case.

    Hi Kate,

    Thank you for the reply. It would be wonderful if this could be applied to one of our accounts for QA Training  so we could look to test (if possible our Delta Group would be the one)

    To give a bit more context. We are finding more and more of our clients IT are blocking the gtmpc.exe download. This is causing major headaches on Mondays as delegates do not often do the pre-test beforehand. The CIB would be a quick win and get them connected quickly to the classroom PC's.

    Thank you for sharing your feedback about your support experience—it's great to hear that!

    As for enabling CIB by group, I haven't come across any discussions on that yet. Hopefully, implementing such a feature wouldn't pose too much of a challenge, especially since the old connection method is still available, the CIB is an add-in option.
