GoToMyPC 2024 Year in Review!

You asked, we delivered!

Your voice plays a powerful role in our product direction and enhancements. The feedback you share every day within the experience, here in the community, and through your recorded support calls lets us know what you find most important.

We are taking the momentum from your feedback in 2024 and bringing it into 2025, including a refreshed interface and better connectivity.

Here are some of the latest improvements rolled out because of your feedback:

  • Connect-In-Browser: Admins can now allow users to connect-in-browser, a connectivity method that requires no download to launch your session and access your host computer. It uses a browser-based method, rather than the previous downloaded client viewer. It provides a modernized method to remotely access your devices. Learn more here.
  • New Console Toggle Button: A refreshed interface with better functionality for the GoToMyPC you know and love. This provides a refreshed account view, new My Computers page view and a complete overhaul to your user experience. It also provides you with seamless browser-based connections to your host computers.

  • Connectivity History for Connect-in-Browser & New Console Sessions: Ability to see your connectivity history for your browser-based connections. This is crucial in tracking your usage and productivity. This can be accessed from the Access Activity tab within your classic GoToMyPC view, or the New Console view. Learn more here.
  • Connect-in-Browser/New Console Start Session in Full Screen: This provides a better user-experience by immediately starting your browser-based sessions in full screen mode. Eliminating the need for you to take the step of initiating full screen, at the start of every session.
  • Shared Access for GoToMyPC Pro Tier: Previously only available to Corporate Tier, this allows you to grant multiple users access to individual host computers (only 1 at any given time). It will give you full control over which users can access which computers. This is critical for small-to-medium sized businesses where users may need to access a range of different shared computers.
