Can't access my network from most hotel rooms

I've been using Hamachi VPN for over 10 years, mostly successfully. But recently I've been unable to access my Hamachi network server from most hotel rooms using their internet service. This is preventing me from working while traveling. I don't have any trouble when using my laptop from home or other locations, or if I access the internet using my mobile phone as a hotspot. Are the hotels using firewalls to prevent using Hamachi? If so, what is the workaround?

We do not have a way to bypass the firewall of any network you are using, so unless you can talk the Hotel into making changes the only other option is to use a different network.

But if I can't use Hamachi to access my company server while traveling, the application has very little, or no, value to me. Do you know of any other solutions?

Hi mechantek, welcome to the community.

It certainly sounds like a firewall issue since you are able to connect by moving to a different network. I don't think there are any workarounds to get past their firewall while you are using their network. You could hotspot your phone and use that for Internet access to connect with your Hamachi network.
