Ability to turn off presenter name plate and black boxes that appear in recordings

Hello, I've been using GoTo Webinar for five years and on my recent webinar the black "name" boxes that appear in the camera window during the webinar have never been included in the recording. In our last webinar that were visible in the recording which ultimately results in a very poor user experience for our on-demand viewership because in this particular instance they covered a majority of the webinar demonstration. Is there a way to disable these from appearing in the recordings going forward? We are currently using the classic version of GoTo.

VWB1 Thanks for the additional context. I am moving this discussion to the idea board, and will share any updates. In the meantime, others can vote and comment for this feature implementation. Thanks

I would like the names to be disabled in the recording. It is an issue for us as organizers & co-organizers during the webinar because it obstructs our views when we are demonstrating something. We have confirmed in the past that those black name boxes do not appear during the live broadcast to the attendees. I have been hosting webcast webinars in the classic GoTo.  They name boxes in the webcams just seem silly, we all know who is on the webinar and it isn't necessary for our purposes to have them there.

Now, yesterday I tried the new version of GoTo and noticed that the names still appear in the recording - it would be very nice to be able to disable those both during the broadcast and in the recording.

"would like the webcam in the recording, just not the speaker name? We could request the team add an option to disable names in recordings. " Personally I would feel like saying 'yes'. If it were possible, it would be a great option!

    I'm counting on it!

    VWB Nice seeing you,

Your post has been shared with the team. There was a recent rollout that introduced speaker names in recordings. This was introduced as a feature.

We could request the team add an option to disable names in recordings. Could you share why this is not an issue during the webinar itself, just the recording? It would be helpful to share with the team.

Could you also let us know if you were hosting a standard webinar or a webcast?

Thanks, I look forward to hearing from you.
