Reasoning:
During the server outages on October 6th and 8th, I experienced a loss of a cloud recording that was critical to my work. This caused significant disruption and data loss. A local backup option would serve as a fail-safe, ensuring that organisers always have access to a recording, even in the event of cloud service interruptions or technical failures.
