Hi Folks! First time posting a question here but I am a long time user of the FastSupport GoToAssist Remote product.
QUESTION: Is it possible to change the computer's "Device Name" (computer name) without losing my connection to the computer on the next reboot? Every time I change the computer's name then reboot I get the message "Customer has left this session" and it never reconnects. Then I have to ask the end user to start the session all over again with a new Support Key. Thanks! 😊

I know that changing the device name in Windows itself does require a reboot to complete, but I wonder if doing that also changes how the computer is identified for the GoToAssist session resulting in the reconnection failing. I will run this past the team to see if that could be the reason.
I was able to recreate this issue with both GoToAssist v4 and v5 and will be passing it along to the team to see if anything can be done.
