Do phone attendees count towards the participant limit for GoToMeeting?

Does anyone know if phone callers that dial-in (who aren't connected to the GoToMeeting session via web) count towards the participant limit for GoToMeeting? Or if someone who is joined to the GTM via web and dials in by phone for audio counts as 2 participants instead of 1?

 

Lastly, if a plan is upgraded (from 25 participants to GoToMeeting Pro with 50 participants), what happens to a person's existing GTM scheduled meetings? Does the upgrade require them to setup meetings and their personal meeting room link again?

 

We are in the process of sending out the meeting invites today for a webinar happening next week. Thanks in advance for any input!

I can tell you that we have allowances for telephone participation, in the case where some people may have forgotten to hang up their phone when switching to VoIP, or accidentally dial in on multiple lines.  This means that integrated audio can handle additional callers beyond the meeting limit, though the exact number depends on the conference brige.  All we can officially support though, is the maximum capacity that your subscription allows.

 

** Once you upgrade a subscription (not adding an additional subscription type on top), all your scheduled GoToMeetings will be automatically increased to the new limit.
