Full support for Linux and Firefox?

My PC runs :
- Fedora 23 64-bit
- Firefox 45
- Chrome 49

I can't reach a meeting room with Firefox. It works with Chrome tough.

With Firefox, I can setup my sound at the first page. I share my headset, I can see the microphone is active and when I click "Test sound", I hear the testing sound in the headphone.

But once I connect the meeting room, eveything works fine except I don't have any sound. On the sound logo, there is something kind of "turning" with the message "Connecting to audio..." and this never ends and, indeed, never works.

Re: Sounds issues with Linux and Firefox

Hi,

At this time we only support computer audio when you use Chrome. If you use our Web App with Firefox or any other browser (regardless of operating system), you have to dial into the conference call by telephone.

Re: Sounds issues with Linux and Firefox

Hi,

After some testing on my Ubuntu PC and some searching online, it appears that Firefox has begun adding support for Chrome extensions which may explain why you are able to get so far with Firefox. Currently we still only support computer audio in Chrome, but this development may hasten our support for Firefox also.

Hi Glenn, good to read, the less I use Chrome, the better 😄

Yes, great new! I think any web application should refrain from using browser specific features. Linux and Firefox are pretty standard.

Hello, has anything changed regarding Firefox?
I am using Firefox 82 and I just got below message when trying to join meeting:

"Your browser or operating system doesn’t support this meeting.

To join your meeting online, open this link in the latest version of Google Chrome:"
