@outlookcreek Does the GoToMeeting plugin appear under Disabled Add-Ins?
@outlookcreek If you are seeing the installation succeed, but not showing anywhere, you can first try to repair the MS Visual Studio Tools:
If the problem continues, it may be necessary to remove / re-install VSTO comletely.
1. I repaired the Visual Studio 2010 Tools and reinstalled the plugin. No success.
2. I uninstalled the VSTO and downloaded runtime from MS to reinstall. Then reinstalled the plugin. No success.
3. I installed Visual Studio 2017 and reinstalled the plugin. No success.
I give up.
@outlookcreek It sounds like you have done a lot of troubleshooting there. At this stage I would contact Customer Support directly for an assist. There may be something we are missing in your case.
We are having the same issue as well. The plugin continuously goes away. I called Support last night and they said they'd have to remote in to everyone's machine and reinstall the plugin. This is not an option as the users don't have rights to install software, and, we need a permanent fix, not a bandaid.
Windows 10 Pro
@SysAdminLiz Sorry about that.
Is there any frequency commonality when the plugins are disappearing for some users? Are there any unaffected Outlook versions? Can you also state how they were originally setup with the GoToMeeting plugin if they did not have the admin rights required?
This solution did not solve the problem. The Go-To-Meeting Icon's still disappear upon closing and opening Outlook.
-Working in O365
-Triend reinstalling the Office Suite
-Tried reinstalling the plugin itself
Anyone else still having the issue after trying the suggested solution?
@TVHKPA231 Have you checked to see if Outlook is disabling GoToMeeting intentionally?
Yes, I have tried those steps. When the issue first arose for the user Outlook did disable the plugin due to slow performance when launching Outlook. At that time Outlook would not allow it to switch to auto-enable until I deleted the add-in all together and re-added it. After that I was able to auto-enable always; but the issue still occured when ever we restart Outlook.
Upon re-opening I have to go into File->Options->Add-ins->COM Add-ins and click Go... Then re-enable the go-to-meeting calendar add-in.
