Office 365 and Outlook 2016

Hi Augie,

When GoToMeeting installs it inserts local registry files and local .dll files which it uses to interact with the add in for Outlook. If your Outlook installation is not local and is all running from the cloud the integration cannot write into the calendar. 

If you have a version of Office 365 that includes Outlook 2016 desktop software, our existing Outlook Plug-in will work with it.

seriously?  Is there a fix in the works for this.  Long time user of GotoMeeting but have to be integrated with Outlook

Hi Glenn,

Is there something that our Exchange Administrator can install/enable on the Outlook365 Admin panel that will roll the plugin out to all of our users? Manually copying the meeting data is acceptable, and I understand your reasoning above, its just not ideal.

Sorry Devin, our plug-in supports Outlook 2010 and 2013 only http://support.citrixonline.com/en_US/meeting/all_files/G2M010021

That is a really bad position for GoToMeeting to take. Office365 is Microsoft's future direction, we have been pushed off our MS Exchange server and forced into Office 365.

Not true - Office 365 is a subscription licensing model. It is not cloud based at all. We are on Office 365 with local Outlook. There is no reason for GTM not to support Outlook 2016.

Have you been able to run GTM Outlook add on in Outlook 2016? How did you do it?

Hi, it actually depends on which level of Office 365 you purchase, the first level is web based only which our plug-in can't support. Our plug-in should work in the desktop version of Outlook 2016.

Is there an error message of any kind after you install it?  What exactly happens?
