I get a lot of questions from my students, why the quality of the video drops when multiple people share their webcam.
I'm using software like OBS (Vmix) and I share my output, (my PowerPoint + me) as my webcam.
However, when more people turn on their webcams, the quality of the video feed seems to be lowered.
I'm teaching mostly to people from the Netherlands so bandwidth issues should not be a concern. I also don't see changes in the diagnostics area or warnings when this happens.
Now my question,
Is there a mechanism that reduces the total output to a certain bandwidth level?
And is there a way to set the presenter video feed as more important, so that my video quality is not lowered for the participants?
