Roland VR-4HD - GoToMeeting will not allow me to use this device

I am using a Roland VR-4HD video mixer as my video and audio source, as well as my speaker output. I can see the device in the video selection drop down, however when selecting it simply says 'Unable to share Webcam' Your webcam is already in use. Please close all other applications using your webcam and try again.

I have no other applications open so this is not the case.

I have closed GoToMeeting and used this with OBS as well as simply my camera input and the image source is fine. This only happens in GoToMeeting.

Is there a workaround? How do I make this device work?

@Grimey  Are you able to tune the video feed down to 720p ?

Yes, I have scaled the output to 720p and it still does not allow the VR-4HD to work as a webcam. Works fine in Zoom, Google Meetings, and even Microsoft Meetings.

OK, I will bring up this conflict with the product team for a review.  Thanks.

That would be fantastic! Searching these forums I found others that had similar problems using other video mixers. The VR-4HD is used for the video input source as well as both the audio input and output.

We were the moderator of these meetings as well, and not just attendee.

Please let me know when you are able to come up with a solution, as the clients are now moving to a different meeting platform.
