Web version does not recognize my webcam and instead uses OBS virtual camera

For some reason, with GoToMeeting through my browser, the webcam always shows my OBS virtual camera (the OBS logo is in the middle - I have not actually set up this camera) even when I switch my camera to what it should be showing. I do have OBS installed with the virtual camera, but I don't see how this would take over the input from other cameras. This does not happen with any other service that uses my camera within the browser, and I cannot seem to fix this at all on my end. This is also a recent issue, it emerged sometime within the last few weeks (I don't use this service much, so I cannot tell exactly when it happened).

I'm using Chrome 90.0.4430.85 on Windows 10.

Hi @Ptolemy2002

Are you able to make sure Chrome has allowed GoToMeeting full permissions to your webcam?

  • Open Chrome .
  • At the top right, click More. Settings.
  • Under "Privacy and security," click Site settings.
  • Click Camera or Microphone. Turn on or off Ask before accessing. Review your blocked and allowed sites.
