  • Performance improvements for secondary join flows (GoToMeeting only)
  • Bug fixes and minor improvements

What's New?

Support for macOS Catalina (10.15)

  • As part of Apple's software and installation package requirements for macOS Catalina (10.15), the new GoTo Opener app has officially been notarized by Apple so that users can install or launch the desktop apps for various LogMeIn products on this new version of macOS.  Additionally, all previous versions of the GoTo Opener app are also supported on macOS Catalina. (GTMTWO-21718)
  • Additionally, if a user is launching the GoTo Opener app for the very first time, they will encounter a message, "GoTo Opener would like to access files in your Downloads folder" to which they can click OK to allow.  If the user clicks Don't Allow, they can still launch the GoTo Opener app but may encounter issues with automatic updates when a new required version is available.

What's Improved?

Performance Improvements for Secondary Join Flows (GoToMeeting only)

  • Attendees who join a GoToMeeting session a second time via the desktop app (with this new version of the GoTo Opener app installed) will encounter a newly optimized join flow experience, as the webpage is now informed by the app when the initial join flow took place.  (GTMTWO-34391)

What's Fixed?

  • Removal of redundant dialog messaging during the launch flow when TLS 1.0 is disabled but later versions of TLS are being used.  (GTMTWO-22029)
