I operate and install GoToMyPC weekly on machines in our environment.
Since v3601's release I am no longer able to install and register via Command Line
For example, this used to install and register GoToMyPC with the specified account: "gosetup.exe $GTMUser@Email.com $GTMPassword $GTMAccessCode -s -a -s"
Have the command switches been disabled or removed from the latest installer?
This was previously documented here: https://logmeincdn.azureedge.net/gotomypcmedia/document-library/pdf/en/gotomypc-feature-launch.pdf
Hi @admin-tium, welcome to the community.
I am researching this issue and will get back to you.
Hi Glenn,
Just checking in on this one
Hi @admin-tium,
We just started deploying the new build today and we will be updating accounts in batches over the next or two.
Hi Glenn
Just checking in, were you able to get the Command Line Install options re-added in the latest builds?
Thanks again!
Hi @admin-tium,
The new build v3626 should be available to the majority of customers now. If upgrading from v3601 I would recommend uninstalling v3601 and doing a clean install of v3636.
Hi Glenn,
I just tested v3626 and unfortunately it seems the Command line options are not functioning.
Am I doing something wrong, can you confirm that we should be able to register an account during installation using CLI? This impacts our deployments via tools like SCCM.
Hi,
The users' accounts are created in the admin center, not through the CLI. How do I remotely install GoToMyPC on multiple computers?
Correct, I am not trying to create an account but register a machine to an account.
The installer used to included the ability to register using "gosetup.exe <EMAIL> <PASSWORD> <ACCESSCODE> -s -a -s" this allowed for automated deployments, as it stands currently if I wish to use the most recent version I have to manually register each machine.
