@TreyMc I've heard from the team that they are aware of the chat issue and are already working on a fix. I'll post an update here once it is released.
We have released an update that allows the Organizer to manually save the Chat log from a GoToTraining session before the training session is over. To do this the Organizer clicks on the menu icon in the Chat window and selects Download messages. A future update will make this automatic.
If you do not see this option in yet you may need to update your GoTo App.
We were able to test this yesterday (6/21/22) after seeing an email the update had been added. It worked. We took screen shots to show trainers what version they should see. For us, it's Version 0.83.24.
This morning after rebooting, we're seeing version 0.81.00 again (previous version). Any thoughts?
FYI - I hosted a guest presenter today and was unable to download the chat logs as the organizer. I had to still cut and paste it into a word document. Is this a thing, or did I miss something?
This morning we had to temporarily roll back the update that included the ability to download chat logs, we will be redeploying it as soon as possible.
Thank you everyone for your patience, the ability to download chat logs before you end the session is available again. In a future update, this process will be automatic again.
