I have run some test sessions in GoToMeeting and GoToTraining and the Chat logs were saved automatically for GoToMeeting, but not GoToTraining. I have reported this to the team.
We plan to release an update early next week that will add Automatically saving the Chat Log to the new GoTo Training experience.
Would like to know when this happens. Will you be sending out the notice?
We are in the final stages of testing the update that includes automatic chat log downloads for GoTo Training, everyone should have it by the end of this week. Once I have confirmed it is working in my own account I will post another update.
I am happy to report that the automatic saving of chat logs to your Documents folder is now working in GoTo Training. To enable it:
We ran a dry run webinar this afternoon and I had the button clicked to auto-download. It did not work. I was using the GoTo app, as opposed to connecting through a browser tab.
Can you please launch the GoTo App and run Check For Updates?
I have checked with the support team and this is the first report of automatic chat logs not being saved since we made the feature available last week. I held another test GoToTraining session and the chat logs were saved to the Documents folder of both of the computers involved.
I clicked the "Check for Updates" in the top right and it immediately indicated that it was up to date. I created a "train now" training, entered a couple of lines of chat and got a file. Not sure what happened earlier. I'll have to run a couple more tests tomorrow.
I'm not sure how to do that. When I log in, I think I'm going through the browser. Not sure I have the app because I am not the primary administrator for our account. But, I could be missing something. Maybe send me steps for this?
