GoToTraining Desktop App (v8.45.2, b13190) Release Notes

The desktop app now supports some high contrast mode, compliant font sizes and colors, tab navigation, and keyboard shortcuts!

• This build was deployed to customers beginning June 5 and ends June 14.

What's New?

Accessibility Improvements to Windows

• High contrast mode improvements have been made to Windows in-session Control Panel and in-session dialogs. 

Bug Fixes and Minor Changes: 

• Fix for user credentials not being stored after restarting the desktop app
• Fix for chosen audio mode not being remembered in future sessions if user switched modes during the session 
• Fix for Korean, Brazilian-Portuguese, and Japanese Invite windows showing English text 
• Fix for users unable to schedule a meeting from the desktop app when they logged in using single sign-on 
• Fix for Screensharing and Webcam icons overlapping the "You're muted" tooltip
• Fix for misaligned "Need to start this meeting?" link in the Windows Italian invitation dialog
• Fix for attendees seeing a flickering screen or black spaces when the presenter shared their screen from a Mac 
• Fix for the Mac app intermittently crashing when attendees left the session 
• Fix for the app crashing upon launch 
• Fix for Windows organizers being launched into the Hallway ("Waiting for organizer" screen) when they started the meeting from https://global.gotomeeting.com
• Fix for organizers joining as an attendee and the session ending when they switched from the Web App to the desktop app
• Users joined with no audio will be displayed as so in the Attendee list 
• The "Save" button in the Scheduler has been updated to pass the color contrast ratio
• In the case of an app crash, the desktop app will exit quicker so users can restart the app
• Performance and stability improvements have been made to Automatic Updates:
• Engine upgrades have been made to the following: 
  • Audio Engine v2.3.0
  • Video Engine v2.24.0
