Don't reveal "join" URL in post-registration page when "restrict registration by email domain" is on

We would like to restrict our webinar to only our company domain (eg. example.com):

We could do this successfully according to the guidance provided by the link above.

However, there is an issue we found where an external party could still register using a fake email address using our company domain (eg. fakeperson@example.com).

The problem is, after fakeperson@example.com registers, the unique URL to join the webinar is immediately shown to the external party in the post registration web page (eg. "You're Registered! At the time above, join the webinar"). When the external party clicks the link, it sends them to the join webinar page:

This defeats the "restrict registration by email domain" feature in GTW to prevent unsolicited attendees from registering to our webinars by restricting access using domain(s).

I understand the "join" URL will not be shown in the post-registration page if "Manual Approval" is selected, however if we have hundreds of participants, it would be tedious to approve them manually.

Can this issue be fixed by doing the following:

  • Do not show the unique "join" URL post-registration when "Automatic Approvals" and "Restrict Registration by Email Domain" is on; the unique link should only be visible in the email that was sent to the registered email address. If the registered email address was fake, the fake participant would not be able to access the webinar since he/she will not be able to access the unique "join" URL
  • For example:
    • "You're Registered! At the time above, please join the webinar by clicking on the unique link that was sent to your email that was used for the webinar registration"

Please refer to case number 18865929 for more details if needed.

Thanks in advance!
