Restart video from where paused, not from beginning

We often share prerecorded videos, usually uploaded mp4 files, during our live webinars. It would be very helpful to be able to pause or stop the video so we can have a live Q&A, then be able to restart the video where it was paused/stopped. Right now if it's stopped, when you select the video again, it starts from the beginning.

I realize we can divide the video into sections and pick section 1, section 2, etc., but sometimes we are provided video from our presenters and we do not have the bandwidth to edit videos like this.
